However, there is then no further information on how to get this to come up in the SANE preferences or to be able to add as a scanner in Print and Scan preferences. I have a CanoScan f and am running High Sierra. What I tried failed. Unfortunately I have not heard back from the developer for over year about getting an update I assume you use the shareware Vue Scan. This can install it and your scanner will now appear in Image Capture as a device.
